Van Briggle Pottery 1905 vase

$2,995.00

Van Briggle Pottery early vase with an unusual olive matte green pebbled surface glaze. It is number 49 in the shape book, designed in 1902 by Artus Van Briggle and the design is called "Leaves and flowers; two handles". It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, firing flaws, or repairs. It measures 9 3/4 inches tall and 7 5/8 inches in diameter at the widest. Marks include the firm's double AA box mark, shape number 49, and the date, 1905. A great glaze on an early, dated vase from the famous Colorado Springs art pottery.
