Van Briggle Pottery 1904 bi-color vase

$0.00

Van Briggle Pottery 1904 bi-color vase with an olive green brown matte glaze and a thick curdled greenish yellow within the design. It is number 146 in the shape book, designed in 1903 by Artus Van Briggle, and titled "Stylized Peacock Feathers". It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, firing flaws, or repairs. It measures 5 3/8 inches in diameter and 3 1/8 inches high. Marks include the firm's double AA box mark, shape number 146, the date, 1904, and the Roman numeral V for the clay. A great glaze on an early, dated vase from the famous Colorado Springs art pottery.
