Saturday Evening Girls Paul Revere Pottery early pitcher decorated with facing roosters and the motto “This Is The Cock That Crew In The Morn” incised in black on a white band against a two tone yellow and golden yellow ground. It is signed S.E.G., dated 1909, and with decorator initials FR for Frances Rocchi. It measures 5 7/8 inches tall, and 3 3/4 inches in diameter. It is in very good condition with only two rim chips repaired and no cracks or firing flaws. A classic early design direct from Edith Brown’s illustrations.
