Rookwood Pottery scenic vellum vase

Rookwood Pottery scenic landscape vellum glaze baluster shape vase depicting trees on the edge of a meadow with a wooded horizon by Edward Hurley (1896-1948). It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, or firing flaws, and only moderate crazing. It measures 11 7/8” tall and 4 3/8” in diameter at the widest. Marked with the firms die-stamp, XXII for 1922, and a conjoined ETH for the artist. A beautiful tall example, well painted and with good color.
