Rookwood Pottery scenic vellum glaze plaque depicting a marsh or bog in a wooded landscape by Edward Diers (1871-1947). An exceptional example, well painted and with beautiful color, original frame, and only moderate crazing. The porcelain plaque measures 7 1/4” x 9 3/8”, framed about 13” x 15”. Signed by the artist on the face; on the back with the firms die-stamp and 1915.
