Rookwood Pottery scenic vellum landscape matte finish vase decorated by Edward Timothy Hurley. The large cylindrical form has a blue, green and gray scene of trees and lake with distant horizon. It measures 8 5/8 inches tall and 7 inches in diameter at the widest. Marked with the RP die-stamp, XXX for 1930, shape number 6197C, and con-joined E.T.H. for the artist. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, firing flaws or repairs, and no crazing. A tall and beautiful example of arts & crafts Rookwood vellum.
