Rookwood Pottery iris glaze vase with orchids

$895.00

Rookwood Pottery iris glaze vase decorated by Constance Amelia Baker. It has a spray of bluish white cattleya orchid blossoms, green leaves and stems against a shaded white to green ground on a bulbous form. It measures 6 3/4 inches tall and 5 inches in diameter at the widest. Marked with the RP die-stamp, no Roman numeral dating it to 1900, shape # 902D, and an incised C.A.B. for the artist. It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, firing flaws, or repairs, and only the typical crazing. A great shape showing Rookwood's floral artistry in arts & crafts pottery.
