Rookwood Pottery iris glaze daffodil vase

$1,295.00

Rookwood Pottery iris glaze vase decorated by Sallie Coyne. It has a design of orange centered white daffodils or narcissus and green stems against a shaded gray green to white ground on a baluster form. It measures 8 1/4 inches tall and 4 1/4 inches in diameter at the widest. Marked with the RP die-stamp, IV for 1904, shape #932BB, a "W" for white clay, the Iris glaze designation, and a con-joined SEC for the artist. It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, firing flaws, or repairs, just the typical fine crazing. A nice early piece of Rookwood's floral artistry in arts & crafts pottery.
