Rookwood Pottery porcelain vase decorated by mcm artist Jens Jensen. It has uncrazed decoration of white dogwood or magnolia blossoms, brown branches, and green leaves against a brown background stippled with blue black raised dots. It measures 6 1/4 inches tall and 5 3/8 inches in diameter at the widest. Marked with the RP die-stamp, XLIV for 1944, shape number 2190, and the faint glazed cypher of artist Jens Jensen. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, firing flaws, or repairs, and no crazing. A beautiful piece of mid century modern ceramics Rookwood Pottery.
