Edna Bois Hopkins (1872–1937) rare woodblock print of hollyhocks, 7.5” x 11”, framed in an oak arts & crafts frame, 19” x 23.25”. Edna was an American artist who made woodblock prints, based upon Japanese ukiyo-e art and as a student of Arthur Wesley Dow, his formula of three main elements: notan, a balance of light and dark, line and color. Member of the Provincetown (MA) Printers, c.1915
