Charles Volkmar Kilns pottery tile depicting a goose flapping it's wings in matte green and blue glazes. The tile measures 8 3/8 inches square and about 7/8 inch thick (14 1/4 inches square framed). Marked on the face with the Volkmar "V". Possibly from the Brooklyn NY period. It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, firing flaws, or repairs. A good arts & crafts pictorial tile by a lesser known maker.
