Cambridge Pottery vase with a webbed alligator glaze or slip drip design. It has a ribbed form covered in matte green glaze like that popularized by Grueby, Hampshire, Weller, Rookwood, and many others. Made in Cambridge Ohio in the early 20th century. It measures about 11 inches tall and 4 inches in diameter at the widest. It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, or firing flaws. Unmarked, but has pencil writing on the side which appears to say Made/Apr. 3, 1915. De-accessioned from a Muskingum College collection. A rare piece of Arts & Crafts matte green art pottery.
