Newcomb College Pottery oak tree, moon and moss scenic landscape vase in their signature matte blue and green glazes. Deeply carved with good contrast and rich color, it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, or firing flaws. It measures 7 inches tall and 4 inches in diameter at the widest. Marked with the firm's die-stamped NC mark, a faint JM for the potter Joseph Meyer, SI for decorator Sadie Irvine, and date code KU76 for 1920.
