Fulper Pottery large 2 handled urn vase shape 490 in the Fulper book. It has a good flowing black over caramel curdled flambe glaze. It measures 12 inches tall, 9 7/8 inches in diameter, and 11 5/8 inches across the handles. It weighs 12.5 lbs. Marked under the bottom glaze with the "incised" vertical racetrack mark. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, or firing flaws. A good piece of Fulper with a desirable form.
