Van Briggle Pottery rare early (‘07-’12) vase with a matte green curdled and mottled glaze which thins over the relief floral design and accentuates it. It is number 766 in the shape book and called "Stylized flowers". It measures about 12 1/4 inches tall and 9 1/4 inches in diameter. It is in excellent condition with only two small foot chips filled in and no cracks or firing flaws. Marked with the firm's double AA box mark and indecipherable shape number, Colo Spgs, and other marks. An exceptional glaze on a large early vase from the famous Colorado Springs art pottery.
