Teco Pottery 16.5” lobed form tall vase. It is shape number 182 in the Teco catalog which says “…suitable for long stemmed flowers…” designed by W. D. Gates and F. Albert. It has the famous Teco matte green glaze and a little charcoaling. It measures 16 1/2 inches tall and 8 1/2 inches wide. A tiny glaze flake at the rim has been filled in, otherwise it’s in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, firing flaws, or repairs. Signed twice with the firm's die-stamped mark. A quintessential form by the famous Chicago Arts & Crafts Prairie School Art Pottery.
