Pewabic Pottery big blue iridescent mottled glaze vase made in Detroit Michigan by Mary Chase Perry (Stratton). It has a flared lip bulbous spherical form and an exceptional glaze. It measures 10 1/8 inches high, 9 7/8 inches in diameter, and weighs around 9 lbs. It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, or firing flaws. Marked with the firm's circular Pewabic Detroit die-stamp under the glaze and a partial paper label. Called Revelation Kilns prior to Pewabic which was formed in 1906, Mary lived to be 94. An excellent piece of Mid Western Arts & Crafts Art Pottery.
