Laura Andreson (1902-1999) studio pottery vase with a pale olive green matte glaze with some crystals. The bulbous flared lip form is hand thrown and made of porcelain clay. It measures 6 inches high and 5 1/8 inches in diameter. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, firing flaws, or repairs. Signed Laura Andreson and dated 1976 inside the foot. She taught ceramics at the University of Southern California from 1933 to 1970 and was a contemporary of Gertrude and Otto Natzler, Beatrice Wood, and Maija Grotell.
