Merrimac Pottery jardiniere vase covered in their signature feathered semi matte green glaze over red clay similar to that popularized by Grueby, Hampshire, Owens, Rookwood, and many others. Made in Newburyport Massachusetts around 1900. It measures about 7 5/8 inches tall and 9 5/8 inches in diameter at the widest. It is in excellent condition with chips, cracks, firing flaws, or repairs. Cork pads added to the base (not pictured). Unmarked. A beautiful piece of New England Arts & Crafts matte green art pottery.
