Marblehead Pottery decorated vase with a multi color design of brown branches, green leaves, and orange flowers with blue dot centers against a speckled matte sandy yellow ground. The interior is greenish clear. It measures 3 1/2 inches tall and 3 3/8 inches in diameter at the widest. It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, firing flaws or repairs. Marked with the firm's die-stamped MP and ship mark and a faint HT mark in glaze for designer Arthur Hennessey and decorator Sarah Tutt. This important Arts & Crafts pottery was founded in Massachusetts by Dr Herbert Hall, run by Arthur Baggs, and dates to about 1915.
