Marblehead Pottery rare and exceptional Art Nouveau decorated vase with an incised three color design of stylized flower heads against a speckled matte olive green ground. The interior is amber clear. It measures 5 1/8 inches tall and 5 1/8 inches in diameter at the widest. It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, firing flaws or repairs. Marked with the firm's die-stamped MP and ship mark and HT for designer Arthur Hennessey and decorator Sarah Tutt. This important Arts & Crafts pottery was founded in Massachusetts by Dr Herbert Hall, run by Arthur Baggs, and dates to about 1915.
