Marblehead pottery leaf & berry vase

Marblehead Pottery decorated vase with a multi color design of curving branches, leaves, and berries against a speckled matte sandy yellow ground. The interior is greenish clear. It measures 4 5/8 inches tall and 3 3/4 inches in diameter at the widest. It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, firing flaws or repairs. Marked with the firm's die-stamped MP and ship mark and a faint HT mark in glaze for designer Arthur Hennessey and decorator Sarah Tutt. This important Arts & Crafts pottery was founded in Massachusetts by Dr Herbert Hall, run by Arthur Baggs, and dates to about 1915.
