Grueby Pottery leaf and bud two color ovoid vase with 3 well tooled leaves, vertical stems, and buds at the rim of this classic form. Covered with their famous curdled matte green glaze and blue green buds with no slippage. It measures 8 inches tall and about 4 inches in diameter at the widest. There is invisible restoration to a couple rim chips but it's otherwise in good condition with no cracks, firing flaws or further issues. Clearly marked with the Grueby Pottery Boston USA circular die-stamp and WP for modeler Wilhelmina Post. An excellent example from the quintessential Arts & Crafts New England art pottery.
