Grueby Pottery large bulbous gourd form vase with ten well tooled tooled leaves around the spherical body. It is covered in their famous curdled matte green glaze. It measures 7 5/8 inches tall and 8 1/4 inches in diameter at the widest. It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, firing flaws, or repairs. Marked with the Grueby Pottery Co Boston USA die-stamp, the incised decorator initials MS for Marie Seaman. An excellent rare form from the quintessential Arts & Crafts New England art pottery.
